The product is softer than traditional alternatives, more absorbant and is naturally kinder to our environment. Due to the high recycled content, the paper breaks down quickly and seperates when immersed in water. The ply's of the toilet tissue are bonded with hydrogen bonding so when agitated, on flushing the tissue down the toilet, the paper breaks down in 14 - 16 seconds. The cores in the towel and tissue products are also made from 100% recycled material. The use of recycled products also reduces waste in land fill sites and the subsequent production of methane gas which adds carbon to the atmosphere. The Bay West range of hand towels offers both recycled and pure pulp products in the portfolio. The raw material for the pure pulp product is selected from mills that use sustainable forests whose stringent environmental policies promises that for every one tree cut down, three new trees are planted thus adhering to the environmental protection and improving the carbon footprint.
